U-N-I-T-Y

"Remain united to me, and I will remain united to you. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if it remains in the vine. In the same way you cannot bear fruit unless you remain in me." John 15:4 (GNT)

We've made it through 2008 by the grace of God. With so many things going on in the world it's very easy to be distracted and lose sight of what's important. Christ makes us a promise. " Remain united to me, and I will remain united to you." When we put Him first and honor Him our lives will be fruitful. If we allow ourselves to be distracted by the cares and concerns of everyday life we will be "thrown out like a branch and dry up, such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, where they are burned."Make a quality decision to remain united to Christ in 2009.
"You must, of course, countinue faithful on a firm and sure foundation, and must not allow yourselves to be shaken from the hope you gained when you heard the gospel." Colossians 1:23 (GNT)
Hold on to the hope you gained when you heard the gospel. Don't fumble. Don't quit. Make a committment to Christ in 2009. Give Him your heart. Remain united to Him, that He might remain united to you
