Hey!! What's going on in here?!!

Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meeting places, reported kingdom news, and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives. When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. So confused and aimless they were, like sheep with no shepherd. "What a huge harvest!" he said to his disciples. "How few workers! On your knees and pray for harvest hands!" Matthew 9:35-38 MSG

In the above passage Jesus The Saviour looked out over the crowds, and His heart was broken. So confused and so aimless were the people. These people had the incarnete God walking among them and they were confused and aimless. He told His disciples to pray for harvest hands. Pray for more workers. He told them to pray not because He didn't have the power to do anything about the condition of the people. He told them to pray so that they would have a role to play in reaching people. Christ wants us to work with Him. The key word is work.
