Self esteem, self image and self respect??

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day.

Many teenagers struggle with self esteem, self image and self respect. No, check that. Many PEOPLE struggle with self esteem, self image and self respect. We can clearly see evidence of this in how we treat ourselves and how we treat others. We struggle with our purpose and our value.
So many people go through life trying to "find themselves". Trying this or trying that. But the God that made heaven and earth also made you and I. We are unique. There's no one like you or I on the planet. Yet we spend an inordinate amount of time trying to be like everyone else. God has a purpose for each of us. He has equipped each of us to do what He has created us to do.
He is our source. The God that created the Sun. The God that created the Son! He created you and He created me. Why struggle with self esteem, self image or self respect when the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is your father, your saviour, your creator, your sustainer? The struggle is over!! The strong hold is broken in the name of Jesus!! Thank you Lord!
