God's Timing vs. Our Timing

Often times as children of God we take our salvation AND God for granted. We sometimes forget who He is focus only on what He can do for us. We attempt to treat God like we treat food in a microwave. We want everything fast, quick, and when we want it!! We want to insert prayer & a date we need it answered, say amen, and expect God to instantly do it. We assume that because He says that He will give us the desires of our heart, we can just make our lists, and stand waiting to be able to check it off. This is the wrong attitude and approach to take with the Savior. It's time for us to mature in our salvation. Learn more about who God is than what He promises us. Learn who He really is, learn His word, not just the snappy or popular scriptures. Learn God's heartbeat and rhythm. His Word says, to everything there is a time and a season, it says for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. Fully study His Word, get to know Him, allow Him to have free reign in your life. Allow God to be God and move in His timing, when you learn how to do that His blessings will be endless.
